
Lao Tse (Chinese 老子) also known as Laozi, according to tradition lived around China adc sixth century although many historians prefer to place it in the fourth century BC, during the Hundred Schools of Thought and Warring States, when much more conducive to the birth of who would be considered the father of Taoism, as the author of Tao Te Ching.
