Trama Created by David Dortort (also responsible for "Bonanza"), premiered on September 10, 1967 by NBC. The series starred veteran actor Leif Erickson and John Cannon, owner of the ranch called "El Gran Chaparral" located in the desert of Sonora (now Arizona).
